Kaptain Carbon’s House Of Movies
Recently, we here at Warpath.TV have been having meetings. It’s one of those days where George Force brings us into a big room for 8 hours provides us with lunch from Quiznos and talks about upcoming projects. George really likes to get into these meetings. He likes to theme each one. This one was called “Warpath Sails Into Tomorrow” and the room was decorated with cheap pirate pictures. He had one of those nature CDs when we walked in, you know the ones where you can here waves rushing but the other half of the cd was jungle noises but George kept insisting to change the CD back to track 1 when he heard the monkeys calling. It was kinda of odd when he would stop his power point presentation to walk to the back of the room to change the cd. This was especially odd becasue he was jingling becasue he was dressed like a pirate. George Force started his presentation with a growling accent while grasping a plastic hook. He greeted his sleepy staff with a rousing “welcome aboard ye mateys” It helped us all get into the mood. We all ate Quiznos that day. Because I shuffled my memo into my desk and forgot about the meeting, I began preparing the new Out Of Commission show without realizing we would be a week behind. Because out readers are pretentious film critics who need the news now, I am going to report; the old fashioned way, en texte.

greeting radio listeners and blog readers this is Kaptain Carbon with a special text only Out Of Commission leftover special. A few weeks ago Myself, George Force, Epileptic Peat and special guest the Davidian Compound did a special Halloween episode of Out Of Commission.
Because I enjoy the genre, I would like to take this opportunity to profess my enjoyment for one of my recent favorite horror movies; Sleepaway Camp. Sadly, this movie did not arrive in my mailbox until the day after our recording. I would like to take this opportunity to not only announce my deep admiration for Sleepaway Camp but also the launching of my new blog: “Kaptain Carbon’s House Of Monsters.” Warpath.tv has been kind enough to let me sleep on their couch, but I found a nice place on the other side of town. It’s pretty neat. I share with three other dudes and they are super cool. I don’t have my own room in the normal sense we are sectioning off the living room with a blanket, but you know its only 950 a month so I’m down. The guys don’t go to school, but they like going out all of the time and one of them is in a band. Yeah, Im going to go see him play at the bar this weekend. They play mostly covers but its not what your thinking. I heard its good. I think it’ll work out. You should come over sometime. How about tomorrow? Don’t worry though, Ill be back, you know to visit. Maybe soon.
Ah…being an adult.

40. Nickelback - Dark Horse I (2008)
this is the 40th review in Kaptain Carbon’s 100 Reviews before 2009
So usually I would keep to my darkened basement at forums.warpath.tv to do my reviews. Its nice down there. Its quiet. Roomy. But for major releases, I like to come up stairs and show the guests my new dress. Please ask me to stay otherwise George Force will put down his tea cup and force me back in the basement. He hurts me at night. So in this fucked up house I like to call Warpath.tv, I am here to present to you the new Nickleback album Dark Horse.

I am happy to inform you that today is a very special episode of Transmission Protocol. Time to time, we like to pander to our many sects of diverse readers/listeners. This is no different when it comes to our deaf subscribers. I have heard your emails and garbled moans. So in return, I offer a link to the almighty half man, half bear, half mongoloid; The Rothbear. And I know what you’re thinking. That’s not where a semi colon goes asswipe. You might be right… but who cares? Your parents will never get back together despite the fact you created a nice atmospheric hayside, candlelight dinner here at the Bar None ranch. The reality is that your father, Mr. Ernst, looks like a cross between my 6th grade Science teacher and the dad from ALF and your whore of a mother is way better off without him. Don’t listen to that Ted guy. He fucked Blossom for Allah’s sake. Her alcoholic brother then walked in and was written off the show while the dad who will be forever burned in my memory as the cool motorcycle riding teacher Mr. Turner from Boy Meets World was left to pick up the pieces. Geez Topanga, way to destroy my earliest masturbatory fantasy and get all fat after you finally started getting tits. But I digress and admit I’d still RIDER STRONG.
